As we wrapped up the school year and headed into summer break, the Desert Sands Educational Foundation was thrilled to celebrate both our April and May DSUSD Shout-Out recipients! 

One of our favorite traditions is recognizing the incredible Desert Sands Unified School District employees who go above and beyond in support of students, families, and colleagues. Each month, staff members are nominated by fellow employees, students, families, and community members for making a positive difference in their schools and departments.

From those nominations, three outstanding employees are randomly selected to receive a locally sourced harvest box filled with fresh fruits and vegetables, generously donated by the Packhouse at Aziz Farms
