Before heading off to college, Rhion, a proud La Quinta High School graduate, found a special way to combine two of his passions: music and giving back.

In August, he organized a concert with local bands and collected both monetary and school supply donations. Thanks to his efforts, he gathered an incredible amount of supplies, which he personally delivered to Hoover Elementary School to support students in need. 

Rhion is a shining example of how Desert Sands Unified School District alumni continue to make a difference in their community. The Desert Sands Educational Foundation is proud to support and highlight alumni who give back, helping us create a legacy of generosity and community impact.
